Calling young sax and clarinet players!

Have fun this half term! Improve your performance skills at the
Cambridge Youth Music Play Day
Thursday 30 October 2014, 10.30am - 6.30pm
West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge

Open to players aged 12-18 years, Grade 4+ or equivalent.

The day will be lead by award winning saxophonist and educator Dan Forshaw – an inspirational performer with an infectious passion for music. Watch a short video in which Dan describes his plans for the Play Day here.

We are also delighted that two past winners in our Cambridge Young Musican of the Year competition will be helping to run the Play Day: Ellie McMurray, saxophonist and 2006 Cambridge Young Musician of the Year; and James Elston, 2006 16-18 age group winner.

The Play Day will include:

  • Coached group sessions
  • Creativity workshop
  • Masterclass for advanced players (places limited)
